Services
Argonne National Laboratory, Building 330 D&D: DeNuke provided environmental radiological engineering consulting and services to Clauss Construction. This involved developing release criteria for the site following EH-DOE reviewed and approved site-specific modeling parameters. DeNuke developed the Final Status Survey Plan. DeNuke developed waste monitoring and transportation release survey procedures and provided radiological and safety technicians and professionals to directly support site activities.
Waste Management
ANL Technical Support for RH and CH TRU waste disposition: Technical Support in the areas of waste planning, waste characterization, waste packaging requirements, shipping paperwork and supporting documentation, assessments, and field implementation. DeNuke provided project management, planning and scheduling for RH and CH TRU waste disposition for the Waste Management Division.
Nuclear Engineering
DeNuke assisted in the construction of the Hanford Waste Plant pre-treatment module in Richland, Washington. ReNuke engineers performed PRA, cove thermal hydraulics, EPU project management, engineering, procurement, and QA.
Remediation
DeNuke supported remediation projects at the SPRU Land areas, OU-1 at Mound, MDA B at Los Alamos, Paducah, Kentucky, AMWTP, CWI at Idaho, and the Hanford Plateau Remediation project. All of these projects received ARRA funding in 2009.
Health Physics
Successful transition of the MOAB project from Energy Solutions. With our partners Portage, AMEC, and Nielsons, we made our first shipment from Moab to Crescent Junction in 2012. DeNuke has supported the Department of Energy, the State of Maine Uranium Mines and Mills, and Progress Energy through the implementation of RPPs.
