Employment
ReNuke employees have been supporting design, maintenance, and modification projects at nuclear power plants globally since 2006. Recent nuclear power projects include containment sump strainer replacement, jet pump visor weld overlay, welding engineering for equipment replacement.
Services
DeNuke is providing Health and Safety and Industrial Hygiene and Radiation Control management and implementation services at 14 ARRA funded DOE EM projects in all four U.S. time zones. Recent experience includes emergency response for a source breach in Texas, delivery startup and sale of an industrial shredder for classified wastes at Oak Ridge, and excavation of Manhattan Project wastes at Los Alamos.
Waste Management
DeNuke Health Physics Technicians are controlling the removal of waste from the banks of the Mohawk River near Albany , New York. At Mound, DeNuke safety and HP staff support the execution of 150,000 cubic yards of Plutonium contaminated mixed and hazardous wastes.
Nuclear Engineering
DeNuke assisted in the construction of the Hanford Waste Plant pre-treatment module in Richland, Washington. ReNuke engineers perform PRA, cove thermal hydraulics, EPU project management, engineering, procurement, and QA.
Remediation
DeNuke supports remediation projects at the SPRU Land areas, OU-1 at Mound, MDA B at Los Alamos, Paducah, Kentucky, AMWTP, CWI at Idaho, and the Hanford Plateau Remediation project. All of these projects received ARRA funding in 2009.
Health Physics
DeNuke has supported seven Department of Energy Health Physics Projects by implementing the RPP and the State of Maine Uranium Mines and Mills, and Progress Energy. Health Physics is a core DeNuke strength, with GCHPs and over 103 HP Technicians and Supervisors. DeNuke also provides a full array of Instrumentation for lab and field use.
