DOE – WRPS, Hanford Tank Farms (Sub to CHPRC) – Environmental Restoration Support Services, Health Physics Support

DeNuke provides personnel at the Hanford Site to ensure that buildings and soils have been surveyed for radiological concerns. They provide Health Physics, Engineering, and Health and Safety and Waste Management Support.

These activities support a wide variety of projects such as site investigations, risk assessments, remedial and removal actions, regulatory compliance functions including audits and environmental removals of the following contaminants types: Radiological, VOCs, PCBs, Metals, Asbestos, Lead-Based Paint, and Unknown Chemicals.

DeNuke has been responsive to the needs of their clients by helping to move the environmental programs forward at the Hanford site in the following areas:

  • Radiation Protection Program
  • Characterization and cleanup of areas of concern at the Hanford Site
  • Decontamination and decommissioning buildings radiological support and soils removal at the Hanford Site.
  • Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and NEPA Environmental Assessments (EAs).
  • Environmental Baseline Surveys (EBS); comprehensive Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) Environmental Compliance Assessments (ECAs); and Environmental Management System (EMS).

DeNuke provides specialized support in radiological engineering and radiation protection support under RCRA and CERCLA and And support to the Radiological Protection Program.
